Electroforming_Project 1 Finished!
I finished my electroformed neck-piece over the weekend! I don't have any final pics of the cleaned up, sanded piece, but here it is all put together. I am really happy with the way that it came out, and how it evolved from a nest form.
Finished photos will be up soon.

Electroforming_Project 2: Metamorphosis and Multiples Design Review
Metamorphosis and Multiples
For this project, I will create a neck-piece that begins as a cluster of hydrangea flowers that dissolves into only a few. As there becomes fewer flowers, they also begin to die and decay, the end result being a petal where just the veins remain. I will enamel the flowers, with only a few left natural metal. The colors will go from bright to dull as the flowers decay. The forms will go from a solid flower to an intricate lace-like vein pattern.
project will focus on life > death > decay of a hydrangea flower |
